» My Dream House Activity: The students of Class V created beautiful houses using straws, sticks, and other waste material in a hands-on activity to learn about the basics of constructing houses.
» A One day Offline Capacity Building Programme on National Education Policy-2020 was organized at our school on 30th December 2023 by CBSE (Delhi West).
» A Debate activity was organized for Class VIII students wherein the students presented their views in favor and opposition of the subjects provided.
» Calendar Making Activity: The students of Cclass III designed beautiful and colourful calendars which helped the students to figure out the dates, days and months of 2024.
» New Beginnings Activity: In a spirited celebration of language and personal growth, the students of Class 9 were engaged in an activity wherein they penned their New Year's resolution.
» Understanding Bar Graphs: To impart hands-on understanding of graphical representations, a class activity was organized for 7th grade students, involving the creation of a 3D double bar graph.
» Learning about Democracy: The students of Class IX watched a video on the working of various institutions in our democracy.
» Lima Cup Championship: Madhvi Aggarwal of Class 12-B won the Silver Medal in the 4th Lima Cup Championship 2023-24 which took place at IGIPESS, Vikas Puri.
» Story Weaving Activity: Students of Class IV weaved beautiful stories and narrated them using different props.
» Class Debate (VII): Class 7 students presented their views on the topic - 'The World Would Be a Better Place, if More Women Were Incharges.'
» Language Quiz Class IV: A competitive quiz was organised for our Class IV students to enlighten everyone around with the 'Word Galaxies' of their mind.
» Balancing Activity: The little cherubims of Seedling balanced the ball between their foreheads and worked as a team to reach a flashcard. The winning teams spoke a few lines about the various flashcards.
» 'The Chalice of The Gods' contest was organised by HT PACE in collaboration with Penguin Random House. Priyanshi Narula of Class 7-B was selected as one of the winners.
» 3D Shapes Activity: Students of Class II indulged in this hands on learning experience of 3D shapes.
» On the occasion of 'World Hindi Day', Upanishad Ganga was shown in Class IX to introduce school students to the amazing qualities of Hindi language.
» Indo Bulgarian Cultural Exchange: With great excitement, we welcomed our friends from Bulgaria this January.
» Cartoon Interpretation: Class XI students of the Humanities stream interpreted political cartoons from various newspapers and magazines and highlighted the political concepts underlying them.
» On National Youth Day an activity was conducted for the students of Class XI wherein they wrote and spoke on what they aspire to be and created a timeline and vision board for the same.
» Sum of cubes of 'n' natural numbers Activity: Through an engaging activity, the students of Class XI derived a formula to compute the sum of cubes of 'n' natural numbers.
» Exploring Simple Machines Activity: The students of Class IV created a toy car to present the working of wheel and axle using reusable things.
» Class I students created masterpieces depicting Lohri celebrations using play dough.
» Athletics Zonals Championship was held at Pooth Kalan stadium near Rohini, Delhi. Our student Anshika Shokeen (XI-B) bagged second position in 100 metre and 200 metre flat race under senior category. Cheenu Kadyan (X-A) bagged third position in 200 metre flat race under sub-junior category. Dolly (VIII-A), Tejaswani (VIII-B), Nupur Tomar (IX-A), Cheenu Kadyan (X-A) bagged second position in 4x100 relay under sub-junior category.
» The students of Classes VI, VII and VIII contributed generously under the 'Ek Muthi Anaaj Community Service' drive to meticulously prepare and share a meal at Bengali Camp, Meera Bagh.
» Indian Army Day: Little cherubims of Seedling dressed up as brave warriors and spoke a few lines about the Indian Army soldiers.
» The students of Class 3 enthusiastically engaged in a Kite-making activity in celebration of Makar Sankranti.
» Class Picnics: The students of Class IV, V, VI, VII and VIII went for their annual picnic to Smaaash Gaming Arcade at RCube Monad Mall in Rajouri Garden. They enjoyed the games and activities over there along with a sumptuous meal and came back with memories to cherish forever.
» A 'Sanskrit News Reading' activity was organized for the students of class eighth to make the students aware about this style of news reading.
» To enhance their cutting techniques, students of class 4 designed different patterns and tried cutting them seamlessly during the Needle and Thread Club session.
» Hindustan Scouts and Guides, India organized an orientation session of Scouts and Guides, Level 2 for the students of Class 4 and 5.
» Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti: The students of Class 1 to 3 watched a video which provided a comprehensive insight into the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, commemorating his birth anniversary.
» Chaat Making Activity: Our excited second graders whipped up some amazing nachos chaat in a hands-on fun learning activity.
» On our 24th Founders Day, we reflected upon the remarkable journey that defines St. Mark's World School. Not only did we cherish the memories of the past 24 years but also embraced the exciting possibilities that the future holds.
» Indo Hungarian Cultural Exchange: We at St Mark's World School hosted a student-teacher delegation from Budapest, Hungary.
» Name Writing Game: The little munchkins of Seedling recapitulated the Alphabet through a 'Name Writing Game' wherein they attempted to write their name and decorate it using colours and decorative material.
» One Act Plays (Class VIII): On 20th January 2024, SMWS hosted a theatrical extravaganza put forth by the students of Class VIII. Plays such as 'Khatta Meetha', 'The Day the Internet Died', 'Pinocchio', '66 Privet Drive' and 'The Abduction Antics' thoroughly entertained the audience.
» The Accountancy Workshop by Dr. Vikas Vijay, an eminent figure in the field of accountancy, proved to be a valuable training session for our students of Class XII in the preparation of their CBSE Board examinations.
» The Literary Club at SMWS conducted a Bookmark Making Activity for Class 2 children.
