ST. MARK'S SENIOR SECONDARY PUBLIC SCHOOL

In the days when Janak Puri was taking shape and very few facilities were available, farsighted, Mr. T. P. AGGARWAL visualised the need of an educational institution in this area. It was in January, 1975 that a modest beginning was made and with good administration and healthy staff the school grew at a rapid pace. The expansion in the enrolment of the students, enlargement of the school building and upgradation from Secondary to Senior Secondary was very satisfying. Today, it has nearly 3000 students on the roll with nearly 150 staff members.

“SAMBHAV – A Celebration of Life”, an endeavour to bring cheer and joy in the lives of visually, hearing & speech impaired as well intellectually challenged children was organized by our school on 1^st and 2^nd December 2011 in the school premises.

An overwhelming response from more than 17 schools and centres made the programme a grand success. 1^st December 2011 witnessed wonderful & delightful presentation of these children competing in singing, dance, instrumental & fancy dress categories. 2^nd December 2011was the day marked for field and recreational events like shuttle, frog and 100 meters races (for various age groups).

Asha Special School of Dwarka scored maximum points thus bagging the Best School Trophy. The event was graced by the presence of Chairman Mr. T. P. Aggarwal, Director Mrs. Anjali Aggarwal and Manager Mr. Rahul Aggarwal who was instrumental in making the beginning to brighten the lives of these blessed children.
