The 12th Annual On The Spot Painting Competition was culminated with the prize distribution ceremony. The function was solemnized in the school premises for prize winners from 52 participating schools of Delhi on 17th January 2012. Chairman Mr. T. P. Aggarwal, Director Mrs. Anjali Aggarwal, Mananger Mr. Rahul Aggarwal alongwith the Principal Mrs. Rama Sethi and the Vice Principal Mrs. Alka Kher gave away the prizes and felicitated the winners. On the basis of the points incurred St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Janak Puri scored the maximum at the Junior level as well as the Senior level but as per rules the host school does not compete for the Rolling Trophy, therefore the trophies were given to St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh at the Junior level and to Raisina Bengali School, Mandir Marg at the Senior level. Collage making which was introduced this year for the first time at senior level showed a very good response. Delhi Police Public School, Safdarjung Enclave won the Rolling Trophy.
The beautiful journey of colourful treat came to an end with the note that efforts in consonance collectively will once again weave the magic to evolve creativity next time again. |

Schools from all over Delhi participated in the event. Well known painter Mr. Umesh Verma with a penchant for thought provoking signs & symbols in abstract was the Chief Guest for the day. The Director Mrs. Anjali Aggarwal presented a momento and a memoir to the Chief Guest while the Principal Mrs. Rama Sethi felicitated the Education Officer, Zone 18, Dr. Vimlesh who graced the occasion as the guest of honour.
The Vice Principal Mrs. Alka Kher who is also the Convener of the event welcomed the judges and the participants from the various schools. She also provided an insight into the art and philosophy of exploring the various dimensions of Art which has been successfully carried to the last stroke for the past 12 years by the budding artists merging the different hues of colour with the wholeness of the cosmos.
Everyone was mesmerized to see children drawing animatedly and enthusiastically on canvas equipped with brushes & colours. This year collage making was introduced for secondary and senior secondary levels. A gallery of previous year’s prize winning paintings was displayed which was appreciated by all.
A team of renowned artists Mr. Subhashish Dutta and Mr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma judged the beautiful creativity presented by around 1600 participants. The Chief Guest & the judges later gave their signatures on canvas as a remembrance on the occasion. Workshops were conducted for the accompanying teachers on Jewellery designing & coffee painting by resource persons from Times of India. |

| Prize Distribution Ceremony |
| The annual On The Spot Painting Competition 2010 came to a ceremonial end with the distribution of individual prizes on the basis of points incurred by individual schools at preprimary, primary & Senior Secondary levels. The prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest Dr. Vimlesh Kumari, the Education Officer, Zone – 18, West B, the Director Mrs. Anjali Aggarwal. Rolling trophy for pre primary was bagged by Mark’s Kindergarten, Meera Bagh, the same for primary was won by St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh while the rolling trophy for seniors was bagged by St. Mark’s School, Janak Puri but as the host school does not compete for the trophy it was handed over to Raisina Bengali School, Mandir Marg which scored the second highest number of points. |

Annual Inter School ‘On the Spot Painting Competition’ was organized on 6th November 2009 with great zest and zeal in the school premises.
64 schools from all over Delhi participated in the event. Well renowned Chief Political Cartoonist with Indian Express Mr. E. P. Unny was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The Director Mrs. Anjali Aggarwal along-with the Manager Mr. L. K. Rai, Principal Mr. H. K. Pandey, the Deputy Education Officer Delhi (West) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of Honour. |

Mr. Unny, with a few strokes left a beautiful caricature of a leading personality. Having such learned, well versed humble cartoonist who can come up with something exciting impromptu was a wonderful experience.
A team of renowned artist Mr. Roopak Goswami, Mr. Shyamal Banerjee and Mr. Nirmal Singh judged the beautiful creativity presented by more than 2000 participants. A gallery of the previous years prize winning paintings was on display while as teacher co-omdinators from various schools were engaged in ‘Ceramic Painting’ and ‘Mask Making’ workshops held on the occasion. It was appreciated by one and all. |
