In the days when Janak Puri was taking shape and very few facilities were available, farsighted, Mr. T. P. AGGARWAL visualised the need of an educational institution in this area. It was in January, 1975 that a modest beginning was made and with good administration and healthy staff the school grew at a rapid pace. The expansion in the enrolment of the students, enlargement of the school building and upgradation from Secondary to Senior Secondary was very satisfying. Today, it has nearly 3000 students on the roll with nearly 150 staff members.

A true visionary - Mr. T. P. Aggarwal the founder Chairman of the school runs three Senior Secondary Schools in West Delhi. All the three schools are run by St. Mark’s Christian Educational Society. The society runs St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh and St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Girls School, Meera Bagh too. For his contribution in the field of Education since 1975 Mr. T. P. Aggarwal was awarded the Dr. Radhakrishnan Memorial National Teacher’s Award.

Mr. T. P. Aggarwal, Chairman of group of St. Mark’s School, Charter President of Rotary Club of Delhi Janak (RI) District 3010, President IMPPA (Indian Motion Picture Producers Association) Chamber of Motion Picture Producers and also the Chairman of Film Makers Combine for the third consecutive term believes that student should have a passion to work hard. People with passion to work hard have all their senses in everything they do. It can be only maintained by developing a habit of taking challenges. He has always felt that a healthy body and mind are the keys to a successful and an accomplished living.

St. Mark's congratulates its Chairman

It was a proud moment for St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, when our Chairman Mr. T. P. Aggarwal was felicitated by the Chief Minister of Delhi Ms. Sheila Dixit, for being elected the First Vice President of International Federation of Film Producers’ Association (An Apex Body of Global Film Producers). This was during the 64^th Cannes Film Festival held in May 2011.

Mr. T. P. Aggarwal is presently the Chairman of the Film Federation of India as well as the President of the Indian Motion Picture Producer’s Association. He is also the Chairman of Film Makers’ Combine.
