RULES AND REGULATION
1. Introduction. ‘Atoot Bandhan’, the Old Students’ Association of SMS-Meera Bagh, is a voluntary organization working as a forum for students who have passed Class-XII from St. Mark’s Sr Sec Public School, Meera Bagh, New Delhi - 110087.
2. Functioning. The Association will be working worldwide with its base at SMS, Meera Bagh. The Association has a Governing Body which is responsible for its day-to-day functioning.
3. Objectives. · To improve and ensure linkage and communication between the school and the alumni, and to strengthen ties amongst ex-students. · To inculcate the spirit of togetherness and bonding by organizing events such as General Body meetings, reunions, annual dinners, cultural evenings etc. · To encourage and foster the interest of alumni in the present day activities and aspirations of the school. · To act as a bridge between school and society at National/International level.
4. Membership. Any student who has passed Class-XII from St. Mark’s Sr Sec Public School, Meera Bagh, New Delhi – 110087 can become a member of ‘Atoot Bandhan’, subject to payment of Registration Charges (one-time), Annual Membership Fees and acceptance by the Governing Body of the Association. Please note that the Governing Body reserves the right to reject the application for membership without assigning any reason. Details of membership charges are as follows: · Registration Charges : Rs.100/- (One-time; at the time of registration) · Membership Charges : Rs.600/- (For the first two years) Rs.300/- (Annually thereafter)
5. Governing Body. The Governing Body of the Association will consist of President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Members, and will decide the rules and regulations required for successful functioning of the Association.
6. Jurisdiction. Any dispute pertaining to the Association will be settled under the jurisdiction of Delhi Court.
