ACHIEVEMENT AT STATE LEVEL

The State Level Jawaharwal Nehru Children's Science Exhibition organized by Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, was held from 22 October to 24 October 2009. Priya Jyoti of Class XII won the first prize in the category "Maths in Everyday Life." The topic for her model was "Golden Ratio in Nature." She was awarded with a Certificate and a memento. She had won the first prize at Zonal and centre levels as well.

OUR STUDENTS EXCEL IN ZONALS

Mani Makkar and Rajeshwari Bansal of Class X and Priyanshu of Class IX bagged the second prize in the Science Quiz held at Zonal Level by Delhi Admin. Zone XVII on 2 September 2009, at Bosco Sr. Sec. School. Congratulations to the winners.

SCHOOL TEAM ATTENDS HANDBALL CBSE NORTH ZONE I IN JAMMU

A group of 12 students accompanied by Physical Education teachers Mr. V. Solanki and Mr. D. Khorala went to Jammu from 22 to 26 September for CBSE North Zone I Handball Tournament. They stayed in the Border Security Force school hostel. A spectacular inauguration ceremony took place to welcome 12 teams. The students were delighted to meet the Inspector General of the Border Security Force Frontier, who graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Later that day, the school played their first match with St. Xavier’s managed to win. The score was 16-13. The next day the team visited the India-Pakistan border. Civilians are not allowed there but the team was able to visit it as they were accompanied by the Border Security Force. It was a wonderful experience for the team. The team not only enjoyed playing, but also learnt the importance of discipline. The team returned with a lot of experience and exposure.
