Outstanding Performance by students in V INTERNATIONAL DELHI STATE SPEED SKATING

36 students of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh participated in ‘V International Delhi Speed Skating Competition’ which was organized by Delhi School Sports and Games Association at Sant Nirankari Public School on 31 January 2009. This event in which more than 40 schools participated, 11 students of St. Mark’s, Meera Bagh bagged the second position in the finals and 11 students won medals according to their age group in different races.

OUTSTADING PERFORMANCE
Dhairya Taneja, student of class V of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, participated in Inter School Skating Meet 2008-09 organized by Directorate of Education Sports branch, Chhatrasal Stadium from 21.11.2008 to 23.11.2008. She bagged the first position in Rink Race – 1 (300 mtrs.), Rink race - 11 (1000mtrs.) and Road Race - 1500 mtrs. held at Remal Public School Rohini. She was awarded a cash prize as well.

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BY STUDENTS OF ST MARK'S MEERA BAGH
The students of classes I to IV of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, participated in Max New York Life Open Skating Championship Competition held at DAV School, Shalimar Bagh, on 09 August 2008. 250 students form 7 schools participated in this event. OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE BY STUDENTS OF ST. MARK'S MEERA BAGH
Chirag Mehndiratta, student of class III of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, participated in a Skating Competition - 'Roller Sports Race 2008' held at Sports Complex, on 26 and 27 July 2008. Children from different parts of Delhi participated in this event. Chirag won a Gold Medal in the age category of 6-8 yrs. He had earlier participated in L. B. Shastri Memorial Roller Skating Championship 2008 and bagged a Silver Medal.
OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE
Dhairya Taneja, a student of V participated in a Skating Meet organized by Ryan International Schol on 29.4.2008. She has made the school proud by winning a Gold Medal in Rink Race-I quads 300 mts.
