  • St. Mark’s Excels in E-Mats all India G.K. TestLakshay Arora Class VC, make the place in top three position in E-Mats all India G.K. Test.
    ’The Emats All India G.K. Test’ was conducted for classes IV to X at St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh. This test gives a right exposure to students' inborn curiosity and power to learn. St. Mark’s School, Meera Bagh is proud of Lakshay Arora of Class VC, who could make it to the top three position at the national level. He was awarded with a book and a certificate.




  • ST. MARK'S MEERA BAGH CONDUCTS G.K.QUIZ
    G.K. Quiz competition for class I was conducted at St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, on 19.11.2008. There were seven teams, named after the seven colours of Rainbow. Very nice pictorial visuals were shown. There were eight rounds like 'Mixed Bag', 'Visual Treat', 'Identify the Comic Characters', 'Identify the Monuments' etc. There were special questions for the audience as well. The Vice Principal, Ms. V Wahi gave away the prizes to the following winners:-
    I prize - Blue team - Nitigya Dutt Chaudhary, I E and Vanshika IE
    Runners Up - Yellow team - Laqshya Saluja, IC and Ishaan Aggarwal IC.

    An Inter Class G.K. Quiz for Class II was conducted at St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, on 20.11.2008, to asses their general awareness. A visual approach was followed with colourful pictures. There were seven teams comprising of 2 members each. The First prize winners were Gaurang Alagh and Tanmay Chopra, IIC while the Runners up were Rahul Pande and Naman Sharma II F.

    G.K. Quiz competition for class III was held at St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, on 21.11.2008. There were many interesting round like 'Name the Personalities’, 'Musical Instruments’, 'Dance and their States’ etc., which stimulated the child’s logical thinking and sharpened their reasoning power. The audience participation was also tremendous. The first prize was bagged by Manav Prabhakar and Mandeep Singh of class III A. The first runners up were Hitanshi Narang and Aman Kapoor of III E while the second runners up team comprised to Maanvi Mudgil and Pranav Sindura of class III C.

  • THE INQUISITIVE CLUB AT WORK
    'Confidence never comes from having all answers,
    It comes from being open to all questions'.
    Students of classes VI to IX had their first Quiz of this academic year on 'Wildlife' and 'Disasters'. The quiz was a multimedia presentation conducted simultaneously in all the sections. It was an Inter House Competition with the respective class-teachers as the quizmasters. The children had a whale of a time answering the questions which were carefully compiled by the Club members. The event was educative as well as fun.

  • STUDENTS OF  ST. MARK'S MEERA BAGH PARTICIPATE IN HERITAGE QUIZ
    The CBSE Heritage India Quiz 2008-2009 was held on 24.8.2008 at Delhi Public School, Rohini. Kshitij Jhamb, Karan Baweja and Jatin Baweja of class XII of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, participated in the preliminary round of the Heritage Quiz.   

  • INTER HOUSE MATHS QUIZ AT ST. MARK'S MEERA BAGH
    Inter House Maths Quiz for classes VI - VIII and IX - XII was held on 12 September 2008 at St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh. All the students were quizzed on basic understanding of concepts, Number Theory, History of Maths etc.

    In the Junior level (VI-VIII), Patel House was the winner. The team comprised of :-

    In the Senior level (IX-XII), Gandhi House was the winner and the team comprised of :-

  • MARQUIZ 2008 AT ST. MARK'S MEERA BAGH
    "Luck is a matter of opportunity and 
    preparation meeting at one place".

    Opportunity and preparation met Student Quizzers of today, Masters of tomorrow - Winners of Marquizat St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, on 28.7.2008, when MARQUIZ -2008 - an Interhouse Quiz Competition was held for classes IX to XII and Lady Luck favoured  Jatin Baweja (XII), Ashima Khosla (XI), Bhavuk Arora (X) and Karan Chopra (IX) of Patel House, smiled, when they stole the show by their impressive performance and were declared the champions. Nehru House and Shastri House were the I and II runners-up respectively.
    The Chairman
    Mr. T. P. Aggarwal, Principal  Ms. A. Aggarwal and Vice Principal Ms. V.Wahi graced the occasion with their presence. "It is a three-way learning process, among the participants, quiz masters and the audience," said Ms. A. Aggarwal in her concluding speech.
      

  • ST. MARK'S MEERA BAGH SHINES AGAIN !
    The students of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, were once again declared the overall winners of the Procom Quiz Contest for the year 2007-08. The trophy for the First Prize was bagged by the school for the third consecutive year. The individual prizes were given to the following students in different categories.

  • MULTIMEDIA QUIZ CONDUCTED
    We do  not restrict ourselves only to our country  and our culture. So, our Inquisitive Club took a step further into the world of quizzing. A Multimedia Quiz on Mythology was conducted for classes VI to VIII on 29.1.2008. The participants as well as the audience were enthralled and excited to have to learn more about the Hindu, Greek, Roman and Chinese mythology.
      

  • QUIZZING IN BOOK WORM CLUB
    The Book Worm Club
    comprising of the tiny tots met in the Audio-Visual room to try their skill at Quizzing on books on 7.3.2008. It consisted of various rounds namely 'Identify the Story', Name the Author', 'Odd One Out' etc. The students enjoyed all the rounds and participated enthusiastically. The winners were  given books as incentives to inculcate good reading habits and to develop their love for books which is fast on the decline among the younger generation. The meeting culminated with best wishes for all the children in their new session.
