- ST. MARK'S SANSKRIT RECITATION COMPETITION
'Poetry is the best words in the best order' - S.T. Coleridge
An Inter Class Sanskrit Recitation Competition was held on 12 October 2009 for Classes VI to VIII. The motive of this competition was to inculcate love and respect for the mother of all languages, Sanskrit. The Competition incited the students to show their interests and bring out their hidden talent in Sanskrit. The zeal and fervour was explicit on the faces of all. The participants were exuberant and quite eager for their performances and the subsequent results. There was a neck to neck competition among the participants.

- ST. MARK'S ENGLISH RECITATION COMPETITION
An Inter Class English Recitation Competition was held on 13 August 2009 at St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh for Classes IX & X. The students rendered thought provoking poems of noted poets like G. B. Shaw. The judges complemented the students on judicious selection of poems rendered with apt expressions, clarity and voice modulations.

- ST. MARK'S RECITATION COMPETITION
Inter Class English Recitation Competition was held on 31 July 2009 at St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, for classes I to V. Various themes were taken up by different classes. The themes were class I – Childhood, Class II- Animals, Class III-School, Class IV-Holidays and Class V- My Country. All the participants recited the poems very nicely and cast a spell on the judges. Students were encouraged by the judges to continue working hard.
