  • STUDENT LEARNS THE NUANCES OF FILM MAKING
I was lucky to get an opportunity to attend a wildlife film-making workshop organized by CMS-VATAVARAN on 20 October 2009 at India Habitat Centre. The 12-hour workshop was hosted by Mr. Vijay Bedi, a Green Oscar Awardee whose family has been in wildlife film making from three generations. Eighteen students from different schools participated. We were briefed by him about the various steps involved in film making. We were also made aware of the problems we would face and how to overcome them. We learnt how to use the state of the art equipment. We then headed to the zoological park for a hands-on experience. It was wonderful to be so close to nature.

We returned to the Habitat Centre and shifted our focus on editing of films. It was an amazing experience and I felt enlightened after attending it.
