- ST. MARK'S MEERA BAGH CELEBRATES 'RANG TARANG'
The evenings of 8th and 9th of November 2008 came alive at St. Mark's Sr. Sec. School, Meera Bagh as it held its Cultural Fiesta - 'Rang Tarang'.
The Chief Guests were Dr. Bijender Singh, MLA and the Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Sharad Aggarwal who were escorted by the Chairman
Mr. T.P. Aggarwal and the Principal Ms. Anjali Aggarwal. The evenings were the perfect fusion of music, dance and colour. There were folk dances
from the states of Punjab, Haryana, Bengal, Kerala and Maharashtra alongwith the classical dance forms Bharatnatyam and Kathak. Music ranged from
the traditional Sufi to the western beats. The colourful costumes and the colour splash by the students created a beautiful rainbow. The graceful
moments by the students made the ballet 'Sainani' very memorable. The little ones brought alive the various forms of Sri Krishna. They also presented
Hans Christian Anderson's immortal classic 'Wild Swans' as well as beautifully choreographed pieces depicting the celebration of womanhood as well as
humorous skits which made everyone laugh. Parents appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed the programme.
