St. Mark’s Excels in E-Mats all India G.K. Test
’The Emats All India G.K. Test’ was conducted for classes IV to X at St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh. This test gives a right exposure to students’ inborn curiosity and power to learn. St. Mark’s School, Meera Bagh is proud of Lakshay Arora of Class VC, who could make it to the top three position at the national level. He was awarded with a book and a certificate.
- St. Mark’s Best Orchestra
The students of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, who participated in the State Level Orchestra Competition organized by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi, 01.12.2008, made the school proud by winning the first prize. They were accompanied by Mr. R. Pramanik and Mr. H. Singh.

Sanjay
Dhawan, a student of Class XII, of 2006-07 batch, was awarded the title of Amul
Vidya Bhushan
for outstanding Academic Performance at the Central/ State Board Higher Secondary
Examinations held in March - April 2007.
Ms. Anjali Aggarwal, Principal, handed
over the prize to him. The prize included a Trophy, a Book and a cheque. He
shared his wonderful memories of the school with our Principal. Though he has
passed out from our school it was good to know that he still kept himself
abreast with all the current happenings of the school via the school website. He
is currently pursuing his M.B.B.S. from University College of Medical Sciences,
New Delhi.

STUDENT SHINES IN WIZARD HUNT
Devashree Sharma, of class XI B, of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School,
Meera Bagh, was adjudged the Third Best Speaker in Extempore Debate in an Inter
School competition 'English Wizard Hunt' organized by Jagat Convent Public
school on 29.8.2008.

Siddharth Rajan and Jatin Arora of class XI of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public
School, Meera Bagh, participated in an Inter School English Debate Contest
held at S.S. Mota Singh School, Guru Harkrishan Nagar, on 29.8.2008 and
walked away with the II prize as a team.

Muskan Pandya, a student of class IV, of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh,
has done the school proud by bagging the III prize in
'The Art of Childhood'
contest held in
Romania,
Europe.
Organized by School No. I, Seini, Romania, there were 779 entries from nine
countries - Listonia, Italy, India, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Spain
and Turkey. The jury consisted of prominent people from the field of art in
Romania.

Chirag
Mehndiratta, student of class III of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School,
Meera Bagh, participated in a Skating Competition - 'Roller
Sports Race 2008'
held at Sports Complex, on 26 and 27 July 2008. Children from different
parts of Delhi participated in this event. Chirag won a Gold Medal in the age
category of 6-8 yrs. He had earlier participated in L. B. Shastri Memorial
Roller Skating Championship 2008 and bagged a Silver Medal.

Montessory School, Jopling Road Branch, Lucknow, hosted the 2nd International
Innovation Day to celebrate the birthday of His Excellency Bharat Ratna, Dr.
A.P.J. Abdul Kalaam, the 11th President of India, so as to promote inventive
thinking for creating scientific temper among children. Our students
participated in 'Creative Idea for Innovations' and Poster Making in which 35
students received Merit Certificates and Medals. The school was appreciated with
a Momento for excellent performance.
