  • OUR LITTLE ONES PROVE THEIR METTLE
    Our tiny tots participated in an Inter School Event - 'Milieu : The Social Conclave organized by Ryan International School, Rohini on 21 November 2009 and performed commendably in all the competitions. Ishita Arora (Class I) won the first prize in Poetry Recitation and students of Class III, who performed a street play on 'Civic Sense' also brought laurels to the school by winning the first prize. The names of the students are Saatvik Bhatnagar, Kabir Singh Khurana, Ketan Kapoor, Kartik Luthra, Nishtha Vashishth and Yukta.


  • St. Mark’s Meera Bagh Shines at 'Quanta 2009'
    The proud participants at Quanta 2009It was a proud moment for St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, as its students accompanied by their team leader Mr. Sachin, excelled in ‘Quanta 2009’, organized by City Montessori School, Lucknow, from 14 November 2009 to 17 November 2009. Abhijeet Khanna and Surbhi Batra won the first prize in Science and Astronomy Quiz while Devashree Sharma won the second prize in the Debate Competition. Tarun Gupta got an honourable mention in Mental Ability Test. The performance of Gagandeep Singh, Mayank Khera and Pushkar Jain was also appreciated.

    St. Mark’s School, Meera Bagh stood fourth in QUANTA 2009 amongst 46 teams from 11 countries. It was a wonderful and enriching experience for all the students.



  • St. MARK’S MEERA BAGH STUDENTS BAG ‘VISION 2009’
    Students of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, brought laurels to the school when they bagged the Rolling Trophy at the ‘Vision 2009’ organized by Lancer’s Convent School from 28 July 2009 to 30 July 2009.

    It was an amalgamation of competitions from oratory to theatre to music. The young singers and musicians bagged the first prize leading the school to victory.
  • Student of St.Mark’s Meera Bagh wins Prize
    Prateek Bajaj received award from Chief Minister of DelhiThe Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India, celebrated Rajiv Gandhi Akshay Urja Diwas on 20 August 2009 at Auditorium, Delhi Secretariat. The program started with prize districution for Poster making and Essay writing competitions held for Eco Club members. Prateek Bajaj of class VII F of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, received the Consolation Prize of Rs. 5000/- and a Certificate from the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi - Smt. Sheila Dikshit. The programme ended with a brief workshop on Renewable Energy Resources.





  • ECLESIA', THE SCHOOL ORCHESTRA ON A WINNING SPREE
    We started off with the Inter School Orchestra Competition. Schools falling in our Zone (West B, Zone XVII) participated in the event. Our school emerged the winner of the competition. We finally qualified for the Intra District Orchestra Competition (State Level) after winning the Intra Zonal level, that was the second round of our journey. On 1 December 2008 our school came up as the proud winners of the final competition. Nine schools participated in the Inter District level from corners of Delhi. The proud winners were:

  • STUDENTS EXCEL
    674 students participated in 'ASSET 2008' (Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing), which is a skill based assessment test developed on international lines, organized in the month of August 2008. Three students were awarded for their outstanding performance in the following categories:
    Manav Prabhakar, IIIA Outstanding Performance in English
    Paurav Gulati, IVF Outstanding Performance in Maths
    Mayank Rawal, VA Outstanding Performance in Maths
    24 students were awarded Certificate of Distinguished Performance and 77 students were given Certificate of Creditable Performance.

  • St. Mark’s Excels in E-Mats all India G.K. TestLakshay Arora Class VC, make the place in top three position in E-Mats all India G.K. Test.
    ’The Emats All India G.K. Test’ was conducted for classes IV to X at St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public
    School, Meera Bagh. This test gives a right exposure to students’ inborn curiosity and power to learn. St. Mark’s School, Meera Bagh is proud of Lakshay Arora of Class VC, who could make it to the top three position at the national level. He was awarded with a book and a certificate.

  • St. Mark’s Best Orchestra
    The students of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, who participated in the State Level Orchestra Competition organized by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi, 01.12.2008, made the school proud by winning the first prize. They were accompanied by Mr. R. Pramanik and Mr. H. Singh.


  • ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
    Sanjay Dhawan, a student of Class XII, of 2006-07 batch, was awarded the title of Amul Vidya Bhushan for outstanding Academic Performance at the Central/ State Board Higher Secondary Examinations held in March - April 2007. Ms. Anjali Aggarwal, Principal, handed over the prize to him. The prize included a Trophy, a Book and a cheque. He shared his wonderful memories of the school with our Principal. Though he has passed out from our school it was good to know that he still kept himself abreast with all the current happenings of the school via the school website. He is currently pursuing his M.B.B.S. from University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
