FOUNDER'S DAY CELEBRATED AT ST. MARK'S MEERA BAGH - 2009

The Founder's day, i.e. 20 April 2009 was celebrated with full zest at St. Marks Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, where all witnessed a colourful programme. The event began with the hoisting of the school flag by the Chairman Mr. T. P. Aggarwal, Principal, Ms. A. Aggarwal and the Vice Principal, Ms. V. Wahi. Investiture ceremony was also held. Tarun Gupta (XII E) and Devashree Sharma (XII B) would be the Head Boy and the Head Girl respectively, while Bhanu Nangru (XII E) and Harbeer Passi and Cheshta Uppal of class XII E. Scholarships to the meritorious students sponsored by HT Pace, NIE & Indian Express were the highlights of the event, which came to an end with an encouraging message from the Principal.
 
FUN FILLED DAY IN THE PRIMARY SECTION
20 April 2009 was celebrated as Founder's Day of our school. On this day, various activities were held in the classes for the primary students.

For Class I, it was a day full of enjoyment as the students came to school in colourful clothes. They participated in a talent show and won prizes. Other students made beautiful greeting cards for the school's birthday. They enjoyed the day and played various games like 'Passing the Parcel', etc.

The students of Class II were asked to draw and colour their school. The Class III students wrote about 'An Adventure in our School'. The students of Class IV wrote Poems about 'SMS'. For Class V an activity was conducted in which they penned down their 'Best Moments in St. Mark's'.

All the children participated enthusiastically in all the activities and prizes were awarded to the deserving students.
