Patriotic
spirit came alive when we celebrated Republic Day with great zeal and fervour.
The tricolour was hoisted by Ms. A. Aggarwal, Principal, which was
followed by a speech of Dr. BR Ambedkar, delivered by Arsh Marwaha, a student of
class IX. Group songs 'Mera Mulk Mera Desh' and 'Yei Hai Naya Hindustan' very
aptly described the feelings of every Indian. The students dressed up in
colourful costumes of various states presented the Indian sentiment of "Unity in diversity" very beautifully. The celebrations came to a
close with a very well choreographed number based on the song "Bharat Humko Jaan
Se Pyara". Students dressed in orange and green dresses with
tricolors in their hands gave a very mesmerizing performance leaving the
students patriotically charged.
