TRANSPORT

1. The school provides transport facilities on select routes. Bus fee is payable in advance along with tuition fee.

2. Discontinuation of bus in mid session is not allowed. If a student availing the bus facility wishes to discontinue in mid-session, the transport fee for the entire academic year is charged.

3. If a child changes residence, change to another school bus is allowed with permission.

4. No new routes or stops will be created unless it is warranted by sufficient demand and does not affect the bus routine.

5. All students availing the school bus must ensure that they maintain discipline in and out of the bus or they may be deprived of this facility. Transport is a facility extended to the students of the school and is not a matter of right. The school reserves the right to add / alter or withdraw this facility on any of the routes with due notice to the parents. The routes can also be changed in case of repair of roads etc. by the civic authorities and no advance notice may be given to the students / parents in this regard.
   
   Such changes will remain operative till the time when the road is declared open and safe by the authorities. Students who discontinue the school bus in the middle of the session may not get the privilege again for the calendar year. The transport fee will not be refunded at any stage. It may be possible that the students applying late for the transport facility are denied bus facilty due to lack of space in the bus. Moreover it is not possible to add a new bus on a route because it is not economical to run the bus with a few students.

   In case the students are not availing school transport and are using private vans/car pools etc., please verify the antecedents of such drivers, as the school will not be responsible for the same. Parents are advised in their own interest, to note the vehicle number and retain photo IDs of such drivers with their permanent address proof. Kindly ensure that the vehicle is carrying only the permitted number of students. Police verification of the drivers should be done.
