EXAMINATION SYSTEM & EVALUATION
Std. I to III
In order to ensure that in these formative years students enjoy and learn simultaneously and are under no pressure of tests, surprise assignments will be given regularly. Promotion to the next class will be on the basis of general performance in the class.
Std. IV & V
Students are encouraged to be regular in their studies and accordingly
weekly assessments are held regularly. Promotion to the next class is on the basis of general performance in the class as well as on the basis of these assessments.
Std. VI to VIII
Students will be assessed throughout the year and promotion to the
next class will be on the basis of grades achieved by the students.
Std. IX & X
Students will be evaluated on the basis of CCE guidelines of CBSE. Promotion
to the next class will be on the basis of grades achieved by the students.
Std. XI & XII
In class XI, the streams will be allotted to the students on the basis
of grades secured in class X. There will be three Revision Tests, one
Mid-Term and an Annual Examination. Promotion to the next class will be
on the basis of these Examinations.
Class XII will have two Revision Tests, a Mid Term, Mock Test & Pre
Board Exams.
IMPORTANT
For Promotion to the next class the following are the specific norms :

A
minimum of 40% in aggregate is required.

A
minimum of 40% in all the subjects.

Failing
in any of the core subjects is sufficient reason for not being granted
promotion.

Promotions
are decided at the staff council and its decision is final. Tests
will be as per the schedule given in the school diary. Marks scored
in all tests are given weightage for promotion to the next class.

A
student must have at least 80% attendance to be eligible to appear
in examination.
