STUDENTS OF ST. MARK’S MEERA BAGH VISIT FIRE STATION
The young members of Exploration Club (Classes I to III), of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, were taken to Fire Station, Meera Bagh, on 28 August 2009. They were shown the working of the Fire Brigade and were also told how to prevent fire mishaps and what to do if there is a fire. It was a great learning experience for the children.

STUDENTS OF ST. MARK’S MEERA BAGH ENJOY THE MOVIE
HT PACE organized a movie show for students of Class IV & V of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, on 29th and 30th April 2009 respectively. The movie show was ‘Jumbo’. Children found the movie interesting and exciting and thoroughly enjoyed the same.
- ST. MARK'S, MEERA BAGH TEACHERS ATTENDS HT PACE MEET : 25 March 2009
HT Pace conducted the Annual Teachers' Meet on 25 March 2009 in the Taj Palace Hotel. It was attended by Ms. U. Korla, teacher of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh on 25 March 2009. The Director of HT PACE Ms. Annapurna Sehgal gave presentations on the last ten years of HT PACE. St. Mark's School, Meera bagh was among the first ten schools to be the subscribers for the introductory subscription of HT PACE in the year 1998.
A play 'Bade Admi' directed by Ms. Anuradha Dhar was staged. It was a satire on the facade of the modern life. It was an audio-visual treat.

At
school studies and entertainment go hand in hand as we believe in over all
development of the students. The students of class V watched the movie
'The
Day after Tomorrow'
on 24.7.2008. The show was sponsored by N.I.E. Students Education. Children
found the movie interesting and exciting.

MAGICAL TREAT FOR CLASS V
'Aabra
Ka Dabra'
does it ring a bell? Yes, it was a magical bonanza organized by NIE on 21.4.2008
for students of class V. Prof. B. Kamesh not only entertained the students with
his tricks, but also related the tricks with everyday life. Thus, he was able to
convey a few practical messages to the children. The students were glad and
thoroughly enjoyed the magic show.

one day talk show by
Mr. Shiv
Khera, world renowned
Author,  Educator and
Motivator was organized on 25 March 2008. He is known for his numerous
international bestsellers - 'You Can Win', 'Living with Honour'
and
'Freedom is
not Free', His quote, "Winners don't do different things, They do things
differently" is a trademark. Shiv Khera is also the founder of
'Country
First Foundation' a trust that has a vision to ensure respect and dignity for
every Indian and a mission to bring freedom through education and justice.
The event turned out to be an experience of a lifetime for all the participants
as they heard
Mr. Shiv Khera
live for a full day and noted all his advice,
guidance and motivation about attitude, ambition, leadership, teamwork and self
esteem. Through the
Talk
Show, the participants discovered the secrets of
success which could make them successful in their respective fields in the long
run whether as teachers, students or parents. The participants understood that a
progressive society is the basis for individual progress of its people and that
they should stop thinking on narrower lines of caste, region or community but
move together ahead as Indians.
