 Srishti Ghai, student of class XII E of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, made the school proud when she won the semi-finals of the Table Tennis Open Tournament held at St. Columba’s School.
In the four day event, she participated in Youth Girls and Girls Singles.
She bagged the first place in Youth Girls and II place in Girls Singles.
She received two trophies and a certificate as a token of appreciation. |
| Students of St.Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh, participated in the Zonal Badminton Tournament which was held at SKV, B-3, Paschim Vihar and was conducted by Delhi Administration (Zone XVII) for the year 2011-2012. The Senior Boys team bagged the Championship, in the tournament which was held from 29 September 2011 to 10 October 2011. The team comprised of Yash Kumar (XID), Jayan Juneja (XIE), Tushar Sharma (XID) and Ashish Behl (XIE).
The Sub. Jr. Girls team of St. Mark's Meera Bagh, stood First runners up in the tournament, while Sr.Girls , Jr.Boys, and Sub.Jr.Boys were the second runners up.

Dhairya Taneja of Class VII F of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec Public School, Meera Bagh participated in CBSE North Zone – I Competition and won the first position in Rink Race – II (2000 mtrs. Long race) and 2nd position in Rink Race – I (300 mtrs. Time Trail).
She had also been selected for 9th CBSE Roller Skating Championship 2010-11 to be held at Padamshree D. Y. Patil Academy’s Shantineketan Kolhapur (Maharashtra) from 23 to 28 October 2010. |
The CBSE North Zone Chess Tournament was conducted by K. R. Mangalam School, G.K. II from 22 to 24 October 2010. 117 teams from various parts of North India participated in the event. For the first time the team of St. Mark’s Sr. Sec Public School, Meera Bagh was also one amongst them. Our team played Under – 14 Mixed category.

| We had matches not only with teams of Vasant Valley School, Bloom Public School , D.A.V School (Shreshtha Vihar) and K.R. Mangalam School of Delhi but also with Laureate Public School of Shimla and PKR Jain Vatika School of Ambala. It was a good exposure and learning experience for the young minds. |

| Zonal Badminton Tournament for Boys Category was held from 13 to 16 September 2010 in Baproh Government School. St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh won in the Senior Category as well as in the Junior Category. We were the runners up in Sub Junior Boys Category. Tejinder Singh (XII E), Jayan Juneja (X A) , Yash Kumar (X E), Tushar Sharma (X E), Akshat Bhardwaj (IX C), Ashish Behl (X D), Apurv Chaudhary (VII G) , Mayank Satija (VIII E) and Jatin Satija (VI E) performed outstandingly in the tournament. |
A group of 12 students accompanied by Physical Education teachers Mr. V. Solanki and Mr. D. Khorala went to Jammu from 22 to 26 September for CBSE North Zone I Handball Tournament. They stayed in the Border Security Force school hostel. A spectacular inauguration ceremony took place to welcome 12 teams. The students were delighted to meet the Inspector General of the Border Security Force Frontier, who graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest.
Later that day, the school played their first match with St. Xavier’s managed to win. The score was 16-13. The next day the team visited the India-Pakistan border. Civilians are not allowed there but the team was able to visit it as they were accompanied by the Border Security Force. It was a wonderful experience for the team. The team not only enjoyed playing, but also learnt the importance of discipline. The team returned with a lot of experience and exposure. |
Our school hosted Zonal Volleyball Tournament for girls as well as boys categories. The tournament started on 23 August 2010 for the Girls categories. Our senior girls were Runners – up and Sub junior girls were Second Runners – Up in the tournament. In the Boys category our senior boys as well as sub – junior boys reached the Semi – Finals.

| Bosco Sr. Sec School hosted the Table – Tennis tournament from 18 August to 21 August 2010. The Senior Girls of our school stood second Runners Up in the tournament. They were Harleen Kaur (XII D), Priyanka Gupta (XII A) and Vidushi Sharma (XI A). |
