| A Republic Day camp organized by Delhi Directorate was attended by 1500 Cadets from all over India and neighbouring countries. 780 Cadets including 25 from St.Mark’s Sr.Sec.Public School, Meera Bagh, Jr. wing, performed a wonderful aerobics show amidst some other mesmerizing performances from other Directorates. The show was witnessed the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Defence Minister, Army, Navy, Air Force Chief with Director General (NCC). The Cadets performed with full enthusiasm. |
1 Delhi Girls Bn (Kashmiri Gate) organized an Advanced Training Camp at Gurgaon Women's College during Summer Vacations. 400 cadets of different schools and colleges participated in the camp. 22 students of St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School, Meera Bagh attended this camp. They were imparted training in PT, Drill, Firing, First Aid, Games, Civil Defence, etc. The unit organized different competitions like -
Firing Competition
Debate Competition
Drill Competition
Cultural Competition
Line out area Competition, etc.
Our school won the best trophy in Line out area Competition and stood third in the Firing Competition.
» Riti Pandya from Class XI won a gold medal in Solo Singing.
» Urvashi Sharma won silver medal as best cadet and
» Mahima Nagpal won a bronze medal in Debate.
All the cadets participated in the camp with full of zeal and enthusiasm. |
| The Delhi Directorate organized an All India Firing (T.L.C.) Camp from 23 September to 3 October 2008 at Garrasic Parade ground DGNCC Delhi. 17 Directorates from different states attended the camp in which 1100 Cadets took part. From Delhi, 40 Cadets were selected, in which 2 of our cadets, Urvashi Sharma and Richa Bhardwaj attended the one-month camp. They received items like sarees, shoes, track suit, uniform etc. amounting to Rs. 5000/- and Rs. 2100/- as incentives from the Delhi Directorate. |
| 1 Delhi Girls Bn Kashmiri Gate, Delhi (Army Wing) organized an advanced training camp in Gurgaon Women's Hostel, Haryana, from 21 May to 31 May 2008. 400 cadets of different schools and colleges attended the camp. 17 Cadets of our school attended this camp and were imparted training in firing, PT, drill, sports, map reading, first aid, cultural activities etc. The camp also organized competitions. Two cadets of our school Priyanka Marwah XI G and Rashmeet of XII G won 1st and 2nd positions respectively in Debate. The aim of the camp was to develop the overall personality of the cadets. They enjoyed the camp with zeal and enthusiasm. |
| In PM's Rally 1300 cadets from different schools participated in Mass P. T. Display in which 22 cadets from our school also participated. It was held in Delhi Cantt. Garassic Parade Ground on 28th January. |
