He has been awarded the Dr. Radhakrishnan Memorial National Teachers Award.

» St. Mark’s Girls Sr. Sec. School, Meera Bagh organized a Social Science Exhibition christened as ‘Bharat Ek Khoj’ on the 28th of January 2012. The exhibition was presided over by the Chairperson Ms. Anjali Aggarwal and the Manager Mr. T. P. Aggarwal. The premises were turned into eras of history that began from Vedas and extended till the time India got independence.
» ENGLISH RECITATION COMPETITION
On 29th September 2011 St. Mark’s Girls Sr. Sec. School organized the Annual English Recitation Competition for classes IV and V. There were 12 participants participating from each class. The participants recited wonderful poetries ranging from Ruskin Bond to Ronald Dahl.
» EDUCATIONAL EXCURSION 2011
TRIP TO AGRA (IV & V)

St. Mark’s Girls Sr. Sec. School as per their annual calendar planned and executed an Educational Excursion to the historical town of Agra for class IV and V. The trip was planned under the aegis of Ed Terra students for educational excursions. children enjoyed their journey till Agra via New Delhi-Bhopal Shatabdi Express and on reaching Agra the children were lodged at The Hotel Clarsk-Shiraz. . As per the excursion all the students were taken to Fatehpur Sikri, Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The visit only left the children not only joyful but enriched with their culture and the Mughal era re-visited. All the children were yearning for more as they had a hands on experience of Learning by Doing, Reading and Exploring.
» BOOK WEEK 2011
A vibrant and conductive environment was created with the involvement of children in Kangaroo Words, Proverb Writing, Turn Coat, Album Making, Clerihew Writing, Compose a Song, Powerpoint Presentation, Famous Speeches, Mini Quiz, My Family Almanac, Mock Fairy Tale Competition and Book Fair.Interesting activities were held at St. Mark’s Girls Sr. Sec School, Meera Bagh during Book Week (17 Oct to 21 October) fostering intellectual growth, ethical awareness and academic excellence of each child and also ensuring hundred percentage participation from classes Seedling to X.
» DIWALI CELEBRATION
THE RAMAYANA - Class II & III
As per the part of the extensive Diwali celebrations, the enactment of the Ramayana by the students of class II and III was the main highlight. The portrayal of the mythological characters on the stage was very real and charismatic. Ram. Lakshman and Sita played by the third standard students, Kuhuk, Aarti and Arshdeep respectively, were outstanding but Anushka Sharma in her portrayal of cunning ‘Manthra’ was a force to reckon with. The depiction of Ramayana when Lord Rama was sent to a fourteen year exile, Sita-haran Lanka Vinash and Return of Lord Rama were very immaculately dramatized for the viewers.
» INTER HOUSE G. K. QUIZ
An Inter House G. K. Quiz was held for Class I & II in their respective classes through Smart Class. The children participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The topics were taken from the various fields like vegetables, games, puzzles, famous personalities, fairy tales characters, cartoon characters etc. There were four teams representing 4 houses respectively. students enjoyed participating in the show. The winners were applauded and were given the certificates.
» PLANTATION DRIVE ON DIWALI
The students of SMGS decided to celebrate an Eco-friendly Diwali. The Eco-Champs took out a plantation drive and planted a few saplings in the park adjoining their school. With placards in hand, they spread the message that on Diwali we should clean and decorate our houses as well as plant saplings instead of bursting crackers. As responsible citizens, they understand that by bursting crackers, we scare birds to death, shorten the lives of children who are engaged in cracker factories, trouble asthmatic patients and burn thousands of rupees to ashes in the name of ceremonies.
» COMMUNITY SERVICE
An interactive session on community service was organized in our school by Mr. Gurpreet, the resource person associated with the 2012 Pramerica spirit of community awards. This organization of school children engaged in voluntary community service and holding them up as role models for all young Indians. Our school children enthusiastically appreciated the efforts of this US based financial company and supported the community service campaign by filling up the application forms given by the organization.
